More than 10,000 spectators watched 21 year old German, Luc Ackermann own the arena at the season opener of the 2019 Night of the Jumps Freestyle MX World Championships on Fiday and Saturday night to really kick the FMX season off in style. After an incredible victory the night before, the German Red Bull athlete was also able to defeat the five-time World Champion, Maikel Melero on the second day of competition at NIGHT of the JUMPs in Berlin. Luc now leads the FIM Freestyle Motocross World Championship confidently with 40 points after the first two competitions.
